Air Whistle

Mike Twohig installed an antique steamwhistle that he picked up for about $130 on his Candu-ez DRUMMER HOFF. The whistle is powered by 60-80 psi compressed air fed from a 6 gallon air tank which is itself pressurized by a small battery powered compressor. The compressor is wired to switches at the wheelhouse. Mike used 3/8 inch copper tubing to deliver the compressed air through a converted outdoor shower valve to the steamwhistle. A rope leading from the wheelhouse is used to activate the valve.
